Celebrity chefs make it all look easy, but how do three executive chefs at award-winning restaurants in Newton keep whipping up memorable dishes each night? Surprising, entertaining real-life stories from restaurants are on the table when Jeff Fournier, Michael Leviton and Evan Percoco discuss their recipes for culinary success in a panel moderated by food writer Clara Silverstein. A reception follows, with delicious samples provided by the chefs.

Jeff Fournier51 Lincoln, Newton Highlands
Jeff fournier grew up in a French-Armenian home, and was exposed to eclectic dishes from a young age. The former Executive Chef at Sophia's, The Metropolitan Club and now 51 Lincoln, Jeff also worked at the Linwood Grill, Locke-Ober and Excelsior.

Michael LevitonLumiere, West Newton Square
A Newton native, Michael learned his cooking basics from his mother roberta, a noted chef and author of "Jewish Low-Cholesterol Cookbook". He worked with many celebrated chefs on both coasts at places such as Square One, Ernie's Le Bernardin, Liberté and Elka, and Le Cirque. He was Executive Chef at UpStairs at the Pudding before opening his award-winning restaurant Lumiere in 1999.

Evan PercocoBOKX 109 American Prime, Hotel Indigo
A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Executive Chef Evan Percoco has dazzled the palates of presidents, royalty and rock stars at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington and the Hard Rock Hotels in Las Vegas and Orlando. His trademark personal attention and bold, creative approach to American cuisine led to his selection as personal chef to a Saudi Arabian Prince.
